Textfiles.com Needs Your Help
Jason Scott, owner of textfiles.com and long time friend of the c0w, has come up short this quarter on his hosting bill and needs some help. If you want a good overview of what all Jason and textfiles.com does and hosts, check out the site's 10 Year Anniversary. Jason is single-handedly archiving "everything digital", and could use a hand.
The easiest way to help out the site is to make a small donation to Jason@Textfiles.com via PayPal. (Anything less than $5 is rarely worth the hassle; I'm sure a $10 or $20 donation would be greatly appreciated.)
Another really good way to help out, if you don't already own one, is to buy a copy of Jason's BBS Documentary. I stand behind my review of the documentary -- anyone remotely interested in computers or BBSes will enjoy this. The documentary is over 5 1/2 hours long and costs $40. Not only will a purchase help toward textfile.com's current hosting dilemma, it also helps fund Jason's current documentary-in-progress about text adventures, Get Lamp.
