Con season again, already?  In a couple of weeks the little chuckies will all be walking back to school in neat little lines to learn their reading, writing, and arithmetic.  Soon enough, the summer leaves will turn dry and speak in long whispers, gathering in great piles at fences and abandoned doorways.

I'm not ready yet.  Summer feels like it just started, dammit.

A few of us NSF-ers didn't make it out to Las Vegas this year, but somehow found ourselves together recently in NYC for one night of shit-talking and decadence (and for one of us, vaseline and jumper-cable bruises) .  Read the entire(?) story at Bovine Dawn.  Although the details vary, all of it is true.  Remember, there are at least three sides to every story.
